This is tough - I really apologize for asking my C/D question. I had no idea of the history involved. Some of the private messages I've received make it really clear I've violated some rules. Other messages send encouragement and guidance, which are greatly appreciated.
I'm way out of my depth in all this, both in trying to find an Ercoupe, and in trying to get my pilot's license. I'm finding too many hidden nooks and crannies to deal with at this point in my life. I think I'd better stay on the ground.
You're really lucky people to be a part of the Ercoupe world. From what I've read it's a grand little airplane, with a fascinating background.
