Quad City Ultralights, maker of the Challenger ultralight/Fat-UL/UL-trainer/ExpAB are developing and testing a candidate SLSA aircraft.   In the process, they are testing a much larger vertical stabilizer than is common on Challengers to improve the doors-on yaw stability.  The current test tail is UGLY!  So the Challenger group is running a design contest for ideas to suggest to the factory.   One member came up with this design for the Coupenger: Enjoy.   Ed Burkhead http://edburkhead.com ed -at- edburkhead???.com          (change -at- to @ and remove "???")
