i attend the gathering of Eagles dinner
couple years ago. Charlie Brown and Franz were
guests after telling there story and both pilots
in your midst, there were many teared eyes. i
was able to get there print of the flight. B-17
and 190 on there way out of Germany signed by both
Pilots. Charlie Brown had a piece of shrapnel come
thru skin in late 80's so he finally got his Purple
Heart.
