I have been discussing the possibility of a spring Ercoupe gather in
Eastern Missouri on May 18-20 with Bill Whitlock, the Missouri wing
leader of the EOC. He is hosting a fall event on the west side of the
state, so I thought I'd try something on the east side.
There are several good airports for this. I'm thinking about
Sullivan, MO (UUV). Pretty nice airport, underutilized. We would have
pretty much the run of the place.
Possible events:
Friday evening BBQ
Saturday morning - bus ride to downtown St. Louis, tour of the
Gateway Arch, Lewis & Clark Museum in the arch
Saturday afternoon - Meramec Caverns
Saturday evening - Barn dance in the hangar?
