Wohoo! I was practicing for my checkride with my instructor today in 25kts gusting to 30kts wind. I got to try my ground reference maneuvers in it (challenging to be sure) and then landed nicely crabbed right down to the runway when the gusts were crossing a bit. I wouldn't have gone on my own because my student limits, but I'm glad I got to experience it because it's often windy up here in Eureka. Glad I have a coupe! Linda N93443 (Gilda)
