Hey Ed: I had one of those experiences while riding my 1939 HD "45" to Chicago to see a girl I met at National Aquatic School. I do not recall the exact place, but it was on those narrow concrete Hi ways with the curb on the sides, probably around Spencer. This guy was headed West and passing on a hill. About all I remember is the two cars coming over the crest of the hill. I almost always ride on the outside, so I only had to move about 3 feet up on the curb and road edge. I can remember the wide eyed stare he gave me as he zoomed by in my lane headed the opposite direction. If I had been driving a car I most likely would not be here today. I have had a few other of those type experiences riding, and they only increase my resolve to ride and ride safely.
