I believe getting a briefing from DUATS on the computer qualifies as a pre-flight briefing, does it not? I have been using that since the new Lockheed Martin era of briefers, who are pretty much useless. If I am somewhere without Internet access, I go ahead and make the call, just for safety's sake. Once I get my new iPhone, I'll be able to use DUATS from anywhere!

Sorry for your heartburn, ETC, RGF: I have to differ with you. There is a reason I put the comment (don't ask how I come to know all this). My 30 day suspension was canceled when I provided the FAA with a copy of the NASA report I had filed. My TFR bust was a stupid mistake on my part, and done without a pre flight briefing. The NASA form does work!
