Congrats on the Christmas present experience. Don't let it get to you. Yes, it
is different, that's part of what makes the Coupe so much fun to fly. I started
out in a lucombe, then to a Cessna 170, and finally a Stinson. While I have
never flown a Champ, the the experience will make you a more versatile pilot. I
have found that it is much like learning to drive with a stick transmission
car. Once you learn, you never forget it.
Keep up the good work. Any flying can be fun and a learning experience.

THE SENILITY PRAYER :
Grant me the senility to forget the people
I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and
the eyesight to tell the difference.
