Hi All, Let me tell you about my Christmas.
My parents came over to my house for Christmas dinner, along with my uncle and aunt. They are all in their 70s and 80s. We had the quilt that my grandmother had made in the 1940s hanging on the wall,we used the gravy boat that came from another grandmother,had some depression glass on the table from my wife's grandmother.Our Christmas tree is decorated with ornaments that have been passed down from my parents and grandparents. My mother made our Christmas tree skirt befor I was born. We have all these things to remind us of our past and connect us to it. But, the thing that topped the day was when my 2 sons buzzed our house in their great- grandfathers Ercoupe! After that we all went to the airport and had Ercoupe rides. My mother, my uncle and his wife had all flown in the same Ercoupe as teenagers. We all had a great Christmas. Talk to you all later, Randy Hougham Grandpa's Ercoupe NC87384
