Darn! If that's true, that is my second mistake!

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Dihedrial is 7 degrees on my coupe..s/n 853

I made the trip today ( 78 miles to the airport and
back, and measured the dihedriel of my coupe, s/n 853.

  The dihedriel is 7 degrees.

It appears that Mooney not only added stall strips to
the M-10 wings, but also must have decreased the
dihedriel of the wings to 5 degrees (as listed in the
  M-10 specs).

I understand that Mooney was trying to make the M-10
spin, so it would be a suitable trainer for the more
advanced Mooney airplanes. The lower dihedriel would
be easier to make the M-10 spin and safely recover.

My understanding is they never were able to certify
the M-10 as safe for spins.
