Kudos to John Craparo for his article in the current issue of Sport Pilot describing his journey to a sailplane rating. Excellent article. And I agree that an intense short session is the way to go. I tried the club route but could not get sufficient flying time to satisfy my need for progress, so I returned to my trusty Forney. The urge to obtain the sailplane rating is still there however, just on hold.
