Hi all! I want to thank everyone who commented on my great experience. It really was. What amazed me most was how fast 99485 climbs with only 1 person in it. She will climb like a bandit. I think this has to something to do with the O200 engine in it and me only weighing 175lbs. I did get a bit of a surprise at how things and conditions can change very quickly. My Dad I flew down to Jean, Nevada as I wanted to fill up the plane before we did the annaul and I came back to Germany. This plane holds 37 gallons on gas and when it is full with 2 people in it, my comment to my dad was that it does not climbs as fast with that much fuel and the to of us. My dad being the way he is looked at me and said "You Think". we had a great flight back to Kidwell going over Goffs omni and some new places that I had not seen before.
I would also like to urge and one who is looking for knowlege on the coupes to ask him. He has own 18 different airplanes over the last 61 year, and many where coupes. He was a pilot for th CAP for over 50 years both as a searcher and check pilot. Recent he received the award from the FAA of 50 accident free flyin and status as a master pilot. LB
