A half page piece on Jessica's amazing achievement has also been published in the UK magazine "Today's Pilot". It does include the line "She also used a rather unusual aeroplane for her test; an Ercoupe 415C"!
We are doing our best in the UK to make Ercoupes more visible - the same issue has a long letter "Pleasurable Popham" describing a recent fly-in where 4 of us met up. Prominent is a photo of Robert Rombout's Ercoupe OO-PUS just taking off, in fact a little too soon as his missed the presentation of a trophy for "Most Meritorious Flight" for flying in from Ostend, Belgium.
