We need to drill anywhere possibleI gather global warming is not a factor or simply denied a la Bush. The answer, my friends, is conservation, conservation and conservation. If pursued aggressively it would save much more oil than we could possibly produce (new) and much more quickly than new wells would "get to the pump". Weatherization, transportation economies, etc., etc. - cut demand instead of constantly trying for MORE & MORE. We have plenty already, but it not being used well. Throw in alternative energy for a bow on the package.jbb
A couple of hours ago I sent the following comments, which I thought
were cool and collected, but evidently a "moderator" censored me as
nothing appeared on the list. Second time I've been censored on this
list for what I thought was pretty innocent stuff. Do we have TCA-like
cop-censors??
