Saturday February 28, 2009 KCLL (Easterwood Field)
College Station, Texas This worked out so well last year, we're gonna do it again! Last year we had eleven coupes and two "others" show up and we had a great time. The Texas A&M Flying club, the Flying Aggies, will be hosting an Ercoupe gathering on the last Saturday of February. Everything is not finalized but so far they have mentioned the following possibilities: A tour of the George Bush Presidential Library, tours of the wind tunnel that Fred Weick worked at, an FAA or AOPA Safety Seminar, and a fuel raffle. Food is a given, after all you can't have a fly-in without food. There should be an announcement in Coupe Capers and a postcard mailed to EOC members within about 300 miles of College Station. If you are not an EOC member or live more than 300 miles from KCLL, drop me a note and I'll try to make sure you are kept updated. Tommy N93929
