TEXAS ERCOUPE GATHERING

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS (KCLL)

     FEBRUARY 28, 2009

The Flying Aggies, and the Texas Wing of the E.O.C. are having an
Ercoupe gathering at Easterwood Field. As always with any Ercoupe
gathering, there will be food, arrangements have been made for tours of
the wind tunnel where Fred worked and of the Control Tower. The folks
in College Station are still working on tours of the George Bush
Presidential Library, if anyone is interested. We had hoped for a fuel
raffle, but University policy and some legalities got in the way.

Last year we had 11 coupes, a Cessna, a Zenair, about 50 people, and a
real good time. Hopefully this year will be even better.

The Aggies would really like to have an idea of how many people and
planes they might be expecting so please let us know if you are planning
or are thinking about coming. E-mail Tommy [email protected] or give
him a call at 210-559-9446.

The end of February (in Texas) is the perfect time to start limbering up
for the longer flights to Sun & Fun, The E.O.C. Nationals and Oshkosh;
so y'all come on.

Hope to see you there.

 Alan Fairclough Texas Wing Leader

 Tommy Terry Co-Wing Leader

Alton Boyette Co-Wing Leader
