My home EAA chapter (EAA 932) will be sponsoring a fly in on the weekend before AirVenture starts. The chapter will be serving both breakfast and lunch both days. Additionally the airport is offering a discount on 100LL for all fly in traffic. The airport is Galt Airport (10C) located in Northern Illinois about 100 miles South of Oshkosh. So by stopping, you can fill your tanks and have plenty of fuel, just in case the traffic is slow into Oshkosh. Galt Airport is NW of O'Hare just outside the O'Hare Class B. Free camping is also available at the airport.
