I have been rebuilding a '65 Alon and have started doing some full power take off runs to test the engine and ground handling. My Alon steering (rudder pedals) seems to be very quick and somewhat unstable compared to the Cessna 172 I used to fly. Is this a common characteristic of Ercoupes? I have inspected the steering linkages, rods, etc and all seem to be tight and in good condition. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. Jay
