I believe there is an "official" transcription of that audio tape.
More than one party received the transmission(s).

The Ercoupe reference is part way down the page. It is Ercoupe N3808H
and it was lost in 1980. There is a link to the actual audio of the
Mayday. It is pretty hard to understand. Anyone else hear of this
incident before?
