Good Question! I went back through the paperwork and found that it was replaced with a  McCauley LA90 a while ago, but no mention of the 69-50! I called the mechanic who did the prebuy (and has rebuilt a couple of coupes).. he says the prop engine combo is okay, but as you said it might not be correct for that airframe.......I'll let you know what happens and thanks for the warning!

Is this a typo?  I'm not aware of any 69" prop that's approved for a C85 in a 'Coupe.  Acceptable static RPM is published in the TCDS fro each approved prop/engine combination.
