Thank you, William,
I have no suspicions about damage to the MLG. They look OK and track perfectly on taxi, takeoff and landing. I've been advised (by several other Coupers) that my tire wear may be "normal", given that: (1) they are both worn the same amount on the same tread area, i.e., inboard edge (2) they were seriously underinflated - both at 11 psi.(3) I have made over 100 landings on them since purchase of the ALON one year ago - and they weren't brand new when I took delivery (4)the tires are the cheapest ones sold by Spruce. Given all ot the above, I intend to keep the tire pressures up, fly a while longer , until the cord starts to show, then have new, better grade tires and tubes installed. Basically, I am seeking some reassurance that such is a reasonable plan of action.
