When considering a major overhaul recently, on my C-85, I inquired about
installing an O-200 on my 1947 415 C-D.
I was told that that conversion requires a different engine mount and
extensive cowling modification as the O-200 and engine mount are longer that my
original C-85 factory installation.
Is that true? I have heard both ways.
We have some great AP/AI's in our group, I am interested in your knowledge
and experience.
