Hi Ron; That's a common occurrence. There will even be various losses with different brands/grades of multi. But if you think about it that says something for the lubricating capabilities of the multi weights!

Turned out that it was blowing out the oil vent line at a prodigious rate..., (the belly sure wasn't going to squeak as well as it got oiled...!)-soon as I went back to straight weight, oil use returned to normal. I do have the crankcase vent elbow extension that is supposed to help with the vent oil loss. Anybody else seen this?
