I seem to have read somewhere that most engine problems occur during the take off and climb faze of operations. Without going into too much into technical talk (gravity, pumps, attitude, temp, carbs, and contamination etc, etc,) this sort of tells us (me) something. That when placing the nose too far up it changes the attitude of the engines position for normal performance. On more then one occasion when my engine hesitated and even had stopped on climb out placing the nose down on those occasions had solved the problem. Of course I did look further into the problem with no results. Usually referred to as KISS & I just don't climb too steeply. Prof. Ed
