I seem to have read somewhere that most engine problems occur during the 
take off and climb faze of operations. Without going into too much into 
technical talk (gravity, pumps, attitude, temp, carbs, and contamination 
etc,etc,) 
this sort of tells us (me) something. That when placing the nose too far up 
it changes the attitude of the engines position for normal performance. On 
more then one occasion when my engine hesitated and even had stopped on 
climb out placing the nose down on those occasions had solved the problem. Of 
course I did look further into the problem with no results.
Usually referred to as KISS & I just don't climb too steeply.
