Hi Gene,

The parts manual and service manual do leave a lot to be desired as to 
this gauge.

If I recall correctly, 415-C Ercoupes had a left wing tank gauge that 
could use a flat cover.

Univair shows both 415-48119 (at about $4) and 415-4813888 (at about 
$50) covers for aluminum tank gauges.

Serial No. 4964 is a 415-E Ercoupe.  That wing tank gauge requires a 
plastic cover with the center heat formed to create a "bubble".

Suggest you call Univair (888-433-5433) and confirm with them which 
part number cover you need.

Original finish (under the cover) was black krackle.

There is no gasket...this assembly was originally sealed with 3M EC570 
cement.
