Follow-up.Sometimes Yahoo sends an embedded link to the image or attachment. Many of us have our e-mail set to not show such "remote content" material. On my current e-mail program, I get a yellow bar at the top of the message saying, "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message." Then there's a button to "Show Remote Content". Watch for this and similar things in your own e-mail program.
