I was thinking about floats today while I gazed at one of Bill Coons great
pen and ink sketches.

It struck me that if the Edo float tests had been successful so long ago,
then the complete Ercoupe fleet could be legal as S-LSA if they were fitted
with floats due to the 1430 lb top limit for seaplanes...

Would that be the case?  For a possible instance, Luscombe and others that
do have certified floats that can be fitted to the later models would be
legal as S-LSA aircraft...

Anyone care to opine?
