All my Eric4 and Eric5 (4.4.x and 5.0.2) installations demonstrate the
following seems-to-be-buggish behaviour: after I start up "Replace in
files..." dialog and do some replacing, all the newlines on ends of files
with replaces are lost (all the \n's are stripped).
Some system info:
Gentoo Linux amd64
Python: 3.1.2
Qt: 4.6.3
PyQt: 4.7.7
sip: 4.11.1
QScintilla: 2.4.5
eric5: 5.0.2 (rev a9a2befb4711)
