I'm guessing this has something to do with either with KDE-4.6 or with KDE-4.6-rc2, which is what i'im using on the desktop. On another note, I am not experiencing the QScintilla keyboard layout reset problem on my laptop either, and am using the same QScintilla versions as on the desktop.
