Hi,
is it the exact same issue? At this time it was not really an eric issue but
related to the usage of native file dialogs on Linux systems. This was coped
with by checking, if eric is executed on a linux system. Please give the
output of "sys.platform". eric checks, if this variable starts with the string
"linux".
