For what I've seen so far (still investigating the topic), the intended way for utilizing a “Google Code” storage is: 0) Create a new “Google Code” Project, declaring it Mercurial version controlled since the very inception; 1) Mercurial “clone” it locally, into your computer system, so to get a Working Directory where to operate; 2) Begin developing locally your Project; 3) At due times, Mercurial “push” (up-load) your work upto the original “Google Code” master Project; 4) and-so-on …
