Hello,
Thought I'd give Eric a try so have downloaded eric6-6.0.10.zip and
PyQt4-4.11.4-gpl-Py2.7-Qt4.8.7-x64.exe.
Installed PyQt4 which worked without any reported problems.
Installing Eric failed with the following output,

D:\Downloads\Python\eric6-6.0.10\eric6-6.0.10>>python install.py
Checking dependencies
Python Version: 2.7.10
Sorry, please install PyQt4.
Error: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.
Press enter to continue...

It says that PyQt4 is not installed. When I check I find it is installed in the
default location,
D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4

Clearly I'm using Python 2.7.10.
PC is Windows 7 Professional

I've tried adding D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4 and
D:\Apps\Python\2_7\Lib\site-packages to PYTHONPATH but this made no difference.

Hope to try Eric soon as it looks good but will need some help to get the
installation complete.

Any help appreciated,
John
