I just uploaded eric 18.07. It fixes some bugs and adds these new features.
* Checkers
* upgraded pyflakes to version 2.0.0
* Debugger
* added support of breakpoint() builtin of Python 3.7
* added code to try to open the source file if an exception
occurred in a cython
pyd file
* Git Interface
* added capability to change the URL and/or user
credentials for a remote
repository
* pip Interface
* added support for the '--user' option of
install and list commands
* changed to use the new VirtualEnv Manager
* Unit Test
* extended the standalone unit test
tool to be able to open source
in an editor window
* VirtualEnv Manager
* added a manager for virtual
environments
* changed a few places to use
the newly introduced virtual
environments(Note: a new session file format and debug properties file format
has been
introduced*)*
*Upgrade note*: It may be neccessary to configure the Python environments,
the environments to be used for the debugger. Once that is done, the eric6
IDE should be restarted.
