Hello All, After 12 days of testing, debugging and writing the last lines of code we are finally ready to introduce the Erlang Web 1.2.1 release.
As well as using the framework (which could be downloaded from our site: http://www.erlang-web.org) we would like to encourage the Erlang Web community to take part in the process of building the wiki: http://wiki.erlang-web.org. Within the next few days the e_components repository will be updated with brand new, fresh and ready-to-use applications. You will be noticed about it as soon as it will only be possible. The main 1.2.1 changes since 1.2.0.1: * Fixed simple POST request parameters passing in e_mod_inets * All wparts accept HTML attributes * Regular expression pattern for basic type string * Password confirmation validation for basic type password * Extension and maximum size filter for basic type upload * Upgrade to Yaws 1.80 * Added new feature: component extension (e_component) with: o wpart_rss - automatic RSS builder o ew_backup - tool for automatic doing backups and restoring them o wpart_erlsyntax - wpart responsible for Erlang syntax highlighting o e_auth - interface for authentication and authorization o e_auth_dets - DETS implementation of e_auth The Erlang Web 1.2.1 is available for download from http://www.erlang-web.org and from the sourceforge's svn repository: https://erlangweb.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/erlangweb/trunk/erlangweb The next release - 1.3 - will bring up a lot of changes - we all do agree they will be critical and totally innovative when it comes to the standard web framework's approach.
