I discovered, thanks to Jakob Cederlund, that it is possible to create a C project and give it an "Erlang nature".
This should work for now. But it might not in the future, see below. We have a soon-to-be-released builder for Erlang projects that uses existing Makefiles. This might conflict with the C nature, since I presume there is only a single Makefile for the project.
