Hi! There is a new erlide release at http://erlide.org/update_nightly, named 0.8.6. The only fix is the one for the problems with Eclipse hanging.
This is the first release with a new build system, so I hope that there are no stupid problems with the result. Please let me know if you see any troubles, especially with the install.
