Dave, I am thinking the universal installer for faxien might do the following,
Ask if the user would like to use the universal installer in
conjunction with installed Erlang/OTP.
If yes then give them the default prefix /usr/local/lib/erlang
If no give them the default prefix of /usr/local/lib/erlware
In all cases don't force the erlware directory regardless of what they enter.
What do you think? I think making Erlware more compatible and even
pushing for it to be installed right ontop of OTP make sense,
especially if we offer an easy out for those that dont.
