Another thought- any particular reason why you don't want to give the pilot manual handles for drogue & main & reserve deployment, and for main release? As the old skydiving saying goes, "You keep pulling handles till your goggles fill with blood." Talk to your local parachute rigger for advice...

The pilot has manual push buttons for drogue fire and main release, with a dedicated battery, in case the computer loses it. Everything is electrically actuated, so you couldn't really do it manually.
