Is this based on something implemented in Caja? The general goals seem good, but it seems a bit abstract and hard to see how it will turn out in practice. Perhaps some concrete examples will help. For example: - startup.com wants to make an application with an API from ebay.com, using these modules... - json.org publishes a package for a JSON validator at json.org/json.zip ... - the app is "secure" because ... - administrators can independently upgrade their packages because ... At least I think that's the kind of thing you're getting at.
