Hi Hartmut

In your synapse.xml , you have to redefine the endpoint 'SwaSampleService' as follows.

 <syn:endpoint name="SwaSampleService">
<syn:address uri="http://localhost:9000/axis2/services/SwaSampleService"; *optimize="swa"* />
   </syn:endpoint>

when you are calling a back-end service through the esb and if the back-end service is needed the message optimize , then you have to add *optimize="swa|mtom" to the corresponding endpoint .
*
Thanks

*Hi hartmut

 Could you please give the esb configuration(syapse.xml) and esb version?

 By the way you could check the sample 51 in the ESB_Samples guide . It
demonstrates MTOM and SwA optimizations using message mediation. I tries
it's functionality with a proxy service and it works.*

      *Please consider following simple sample *

      *Note : For an endpoint , the method to optimize attachments can
      be specified in optimize attributes.*

      *then ,the proxy service configuration looks like
      *

      *<proxy name="mtomProxy">
              <target>
                  <inSequence>
                       <send>
                      <endpoint>
                          <address
      uri="http://localhost:9000/soap/MTOMSwASampleService"/
      *optimize="swa"/>*/
                      </endpoint>
                  </send>
                  </inSequence>
                  <outSequence>
                      <send/>
                  </outSequence>
              </target>
              <publishWSDL
      uri="
file:repository/conf/sample/resources/proxy/mtom_sample_proxy_1.wsdl"/>
          </proxy>   *

*Thanks *

He guys I'm new here in the commuity... so hello @ all,

I've got a problem with attachements handling.

I deploy the sample Axis2 WebService that handles an file upload
(soapwithattachments) to an Axis2 Server!
These WebService works fine if I call it direct from an client.

Now I reference these WebService from the ESB as an proxy.
I try the same call from the client against the Proxy WebService.... so
the
attachement is lost. The is no DataHandler in the MessageContext anymore!

What happend there???
Does any body know this problem?

Thanks in advance.
