Hi all, Right now Synapse uses the ports, HTTP port 8080 and HTTPS port 8443 by default. When Synapse is running with other applications such as Tomcat servers etc. users have to change either one of these applications when there is a conflict. It would be better if we use two unused ports for Synapse by default.
The following two ports are suggested to be used as Synapse default ports, and get them registered by Synapse. HTTP 8282 HTTPS 4433 This has been suggested in the Synapse mailing lists. In addition to that, the following port is suggested to be used for ESB admin console. Admin console 9444 Upul
