Hi Eric,

According to the Error message, this check was there even before the 1.5 release. Could you please try the same configuration with ESB-1.6 and let me know whether it is working or not. May be you have added some stuff manually, because ESB always stick to the "main" sequence rather than adding top level mediators. (If there are mediators in the top level ESB takes that set of mediators as the main sequence iff there is no main sequence and both cannot be present in a single configuration)

If you can send me the configuration that you are trying to start ESB, I can tell you what is exactly wrong with the configuration. (You can send the config to me privately if you prefer not to post it on the public list)

Thanks,
Ruwan

Hello Ruwan, Hello all,

did something changed insight the Synapse Configuration handling? I
tried to use this snapshot build with one of my old test configurations
and received the following error:

ERROR SynapseConfigurationBuilder Could not initialize Synapse : Invalid
Synapse Configuration : Conflict in resolving the "main" mediator
Synapse Configuration cannot have sequence named "main" and
toplevel mediators simultaneously

If I remember correctly the configuration file was solely created by the
management console of WSO ESB version 1.6 and the previous two snapshot
versions provided by Ruwan.

Regards,
   Eric

SNAPSHOT-Build
Hi Eric,
I will test the ESB for some more scenarios and let you know
tomorrow,
after making a build available to you.

Here is the build [1] which fixes the blocking issue and the fault
handling, you may go through the test cases and provide us with the
feedback. (You will need to put the configuration attached with this
for
Hessian message routing, just replace the synapse.xml file found at
$ESB_HOME/webapp/WEB_INF/classes/conf folder before starting the ESB)
