Here are some observations, may be minor, but worth with "first experiance"

1. README.txt and release_notes.txt are txt files but NOTICE and LICENSE are not, why not make them txt too?. (I am a Windows user) 2. When I open README.txt it looks cluttered. I have to use word pad to read it. Can that be fixed? 3. I had my WSAS runnung when I started esb and it failed with Address already in use: bind. (may be this is a known problem) 4. The readme never mentions that I can double click and wso2-esb.bat in bin and get it running, provided I have java on my path. I know it mentions docs/installationguide.html, but I am too excited to see it in action ;)

Thanks,
Samisa...

Hi All

I have uploaded the first beta build of the WSO2 ESB 1.7 to : http://ww2.wso2.org/~asankha/esb/1.7-beta-1/

This is based off the WSO2 ESB 1.7 branch revision 17199 (tagged as https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/tags/esb/java/1.7-beta-1) and Apache Synapse 1.2 branch revision 656977 (tagged as https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/synapse/trunk/scratch/asankha/1.2-656977)

Please note that still we have pending documentation updates and a few open JIRA's. We welcome your early feedback on any issues on this build, as we are planning the final release by the 30th of May.
