Hi All
I am thinking the configurations for cross cutting concerns such as
tracing, statistics, alerting, alert rules, etc... to specify using
WS-Policy. These files need to be in the registry (or in-lined. I prefer
here registry as I feel in-lined policy something like without using
provided API , do cut and paste ) and whatever component (mediator,
endpoint, proxy service, etc...) that needs those have to refer by
specifying an attribute that itself refer to the policy file. In
future, we may able to specify other cross cutting such as throttling,
caching, logging, etc just by giving policy without mediators. From
this, our main concern -- mediation only will be in the synapse
configuration and any other cross cutting concerns can be specified from
the policy files. We need to provide a GUI to manage these policy files.
For me this has clear advantages, we can use these across any products,
synapse configuration will be portable and only directly show its main
concern, management will easy ,etc,...
I hoping these things including GUI complete as soon as possible.
