Ruwan Linton commented on ESBJAVA-571:
--------------------------------------
Hi Luca, thanks a lot for the valuable contribution... This has already been
fixed on the latest carbon based ESB, you could either go to the
org.apache.synapse.ServerManager and check the synapse ServerState attribute,
or use the Carbon ServerAdmin MBean to get the Carbon server state.
Please note that in order to get the carbon MBeans registered, you need to
uncomment the JMXPort element in the carbon.xml file resides in the conf
directory
> ServerAdmin MBean should expose Esb Status as an attribute

> Hi all,
> while working on the ESB monitoring we found that there is no way to know
> if the esb has been set in maintenance mode through the ServerAdmin MBean.
> We would need to have an attribute exposed for this MBean to know if the
> methods startMaintenance, endMaintenance, start and stop have been invoked. I
> wrote a small patch I am attaching here. Could be worth integrating it in the
> next release ?
