Thanks for your reply Woody. I already have the version of ESS on MELPA Stable. I was hoping to get the latest version to avoid the problem of sometimes getting incorrect line breaks in output containing "<NA>", and to avoid needing a workaround to stop eldoc information appearing in the R console buffer.
