well, we ended up at etch because sketch was too long. but we were working around the idea of drawing, being able to make an easy drawing, to draw out essential elements without a lot of (ugly, confusing) detail. thrift being too messy and yet not expressive enough, corba being too mechanical, too engineering, soap/xml having too much noise. distilled, essential, expressive
elements. natural. fast.
