release 1.0.2

I've updated the release 1.0.2 planning document. It is located here:

It mentions three other documents which aren't in place yet. I'm working 
on those.

We need to decide what release 1.0.2 is really, and then adjust jira 
tasks and priorities
accordingly. I've been fixing bugs and doing experiments relating to 
transports.
