no sure what this means. what was originally marked in the source trees for all
text files was native (svn:eol-style). this means when you check out the files
on windows they look right. when you build a zip file for windows (on windows),
things then build with the right line endings. when you build on linux, same
story.
folks working on those various machines do need to properly mark the
svn:eol-style correctly.
