Currently, configure is run as the last step in autogen.sh
I'd like to remove that. Reason: After adding or removing gtk/gtk2
packages I need to rerun autogen.sh and I prefer to run
./config.status --recheck && ./config.status to running
configure <options>. I think it's more flexible for those who really
want it to create an alias or script that adds whatever next step
they want to do after autogen.sh.

Comments please.

I found out that "pro" means "instead of" (as in proconsul). Now I know
what proactive means.
